I’m Yaara — the artist behind the camera
I am an artist, healing sound practitioner, and compassionate space holder. I am an intuitive facilitator that guides artists and dreamers through a photographic process that is inclusive, embodied, and consent based.
Based in Portland, OR. Traditional lands of the Multnomah, Kathlamet, Clackamas, Cowlitz, Tualatin Kalapuya, Molalla, and Bands of Chinook peoples.

What inspires me
My work is born from a spiritual and emotional calling: to make visible what is tender, magical, and profoundly human.
I am inspired by a deep desire to offer comfort, peace, reconnection, and belonging to sensitive souls, especially queer and trans artists who have paved their way to being seen. In my sessions, being seen becomes an act of healing.

My work calls to artists, healers, and dreamers who are in transition — stepping into new creative paths, moving through shedding, rebirth, creative thresholds, entering parenthood, or reimagining how they want to live.
They are creatives that live with courage, tenderness, and a passion for creating a more just world.
